Arts Council requests entries for second altered book show
At last year’s altered book show, McKenzie Barnett modeled a dress made out of book pages. Kodiak standout runner Levi Thomet was named the state’s Gatorade Alaska boys cross country runner of the year on Jan. 16. Haiyan benefit concert scheduled for auditorium
A famed Filipino pop singer will visit Kodiak to host a benefit concert for victims of Typhoon Haiyan. Kitchie Nadal, a multiplatinum artist in the Philippines, will perform at 7 p.m. Feb. 28 in the Gerald C. Wilson Auditorium and again at 6 p.m. March 1 in Anchorage.
