City to vote on employee pay hikes
The Kodiak City Council will decide tonight whether the city’s 120 full-time employees will see a little extra in their upcoming paychecks.
On tonight’s city council agenda is the final vote for an overhaul of the city’s wage and job description tables. The new system is streamlined and more efficient than the existing structure, but it comes with a cost — $504,000 more per year to cover pay and benefit increases....
