Talon Lindquist took his record-breaking show to Juneau and did not disappoint. Lindquists make mark at Alaska Open

A pair of former Kodiak wrestlers competed in an NAIA qualifying tournament over the weekend. Southern Oregon University’s Jimmy Eggemeyer placed second at 149 pounds in the NAIA West Qualifying Tournament Saturday in Ashland, Ore. Eggemeyer went 2-1 in the seven-man bracket. Christiansen wins snowy Valentine’s Fun Run
Kodiak High School junior Cole Christiansen captured the Valentine’s 5-kilometer Fun Run Saturday at Nemetz Gazebo. Christiansen, accompanied by Potter the dog, completed the course in 19 minutes, 18 seconds amid snowy conditions. KHS senior Jordan Fogle, despite starting 38 seconds late, finished second in 19:41.
