Alaska State Troopers: Jan. 30
Tuesday, Jan. 28 At 7:54 a.m. Alaska State Troopers stopped a 28-year-old Kodiak man who was driving a 2002 Chevrolet truck on Mill Bay Road with a Montana license plate and an Alaska license plate. He had a revoked driver’s license in Alaska because he previously had a revoked license out of Montana, troopers said. He was arrested and taken to the Kodiak jail where he was held on $500 bail.

The Kodiak Outdoor Film Festival is seeking filmmakers to show their work March 21 at the Kodiak Harbor Convention Center. The festival, which started in 2008, highlights short films created by Kodiak residents. KHS dance team performs Saturday
Over 80 dancers and 42 acts will take the stage at the Gerald C. Wilson Auditorium this weekend as Kodiak High School presents “Moments,” a concert led by the school dance team.
