JROTC program may come to Kodiak
Kodiak may have it’s own Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps program in the future. Jay Baldwin, a former National Guard member, is running the effort to get the program into Kodiak High School. Skyler Waite charges dropped
The State of Alaska has dropped the charges against the Kodiak woman whose arrest last year went viral on YouTube. Time is running out to register for Saturday’s KMXT-FM Run the Rock. The last day to register for the marathon, the half-marathon and 10-kilometer races is 7 p.m. Friday. KHS tennis players head to state tourney
Eight players will represent Kodiak High School at the ASAA/First National Bank Alaska Tennis State Championships that begin Friday at Alaska Club-East in Anchorage. Of those eight, only senior Joyce Bachini has played on the state’s biggest stage. The 4-foot-11 Bachini will be making her third state appearance.
