KANA is recruiting for a Kodiak based Camai Home Visitor. This position provides home based child and family support services to families in accordance with guidelines and other applicable regulations. This position has a high level of interaction with families and children, including developmental and health screens, family advocacy, educational referrals, and group facilitation. This position is also responsible for maintaining records, collecting data, assessing progress and preparing reports.
Minimum requirements: High School Diploma; 2 years supervised work experience with young children and/or parents. Basic knowledge of child development issues and knowledge of community resources for children and families preferred. Must pass background check. Must have valid Drivers License and be able to provide own transportation to meet work schedule requirements. Obtain and maintain certification in the Parents as Teachers Curriculum as the earliest opportunity after date of hire at KANAs expense. Travel by small airplane is required.
