Police Services SpecialistPerforms technical duties in support of one or more police support functions and/or programs. Including, but not limited to: overseeing fleet maintenance activities; enforcing parking laws; writing citations; towing vehicles; making reports; investigating animal complaints; and impounding loose or stray animals. Must be a high school graduate or have GED and valid Alaska drivers license. Job requires reaching, standing, walking, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions. Majority of work performed outdoors. Potential exposure to dangerous animals, people and unsanitary conditions. May be required to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime. This is an entry level, Non-exempt position that starts at $19.43/hr.
