Mud, fun, games and tiny motorbikes were all present at the Kodiak Island Racing Association’s Mudbog/Family Night.

The evening began with pit bike races.

Six racers ran five loops around the bumpy track at the Kodiak Fairgrounds.

A second round of the pit bike races began after a short break where kids played tug-o-war.

This race was seven laps.

Mike Bramblett took first, Cale Fulgum second, Ivan Rodriquez third, Jamie Graham fourth, Joseph Korpiewski fifth and Riley McCoy sixth.

There were two mudbog trucks. Each truck splashed through a mud pit three times, trying to better their times.

Craig DeHart took first and Garrett Mullen took second. DeHart won $100.

The next KIRA event is a Motocross race on Saturday July 26. The next Mudbog/Family Night will be on Sunday, August 31.
