Kodiak’s Special Olympics team captured a pair of gold medals at the Special Olympics Alaska Fall Tournament last Saturday and Sunday in Anchorage.

Kathryn Moody teamed with partner Joyce Gregory to take first in the unified bocce doubles event, while Julia Wiley and partner Harry Steven also won gold in bocce.

Kodiak snagged two silvers in the unified golf event with Aharon Dolph and partner Levi Seaton and Scott Snider and partner Mark Wardell.

Bill Marsh and partner Jimmy Swearingin placed third in golf, while Lynn Steven and partner Joshua Fitzgerald was fourth.

Christopher Bullert and partner Louise Stutes and Arne Tveit and partner Donna McCormick were fourth in the bocce event.
