To the Editor:

I would like to voice my support for Chris Lynch on the Borough Assembly. I watched the machinations of the assembly over the years, and I have found that she is always looking out for what is best for our community. She is involved in many organizations with the intention of supporting the community.

We need her on the assembly to provide balance, as she is a strong supporter of nonprofits.

Nonprofits take up initiatives that for-profit companies never could. These nonprofits, from the Brother Francis Shelter and the Women’s Resource and Crisis Center to the Arts Council, library and museums, drive up the quality of life in Kodiak. Support for Chris Lynch is support for Kodiak.
