CITY LEAGUE VOLLEYBALL AND BASKETBALL

City league volleyball and basketball starts the second week in November. Basketball teams need to email their roster to Ian Fulp at ifulp@city.kodiak.ak.us and volleyball teams need to email their roster to Corey Gronn at cgronn@city.kodiak.ak.us.

Due to a recent state supreme court ruling, for the purposes of worker compensation, sports officials can no longer be considered independent contractors and must now be employees of the organization running the league. People interested in officiating city league basketball or volleyball need to fill out a city employee application form. These can be picked up at the Teen Center or downloaded from the city website.

City league basketball practices begin in November.

BOY DRIBBLERS

Second week of regular-season games begin this week. The first games listed are on the east court (closest to the entrance) and the second games listed are on the west court (farthest from the entrance). All games and practices are at North Star Elementary gym.
