Monday, May 28

• At 2:56 a.m. an officer checked cones that may have been knocked over and tents that may have been disturbed on Marine Way. The officer noticed several damaged or broken storm drains in the area. No damage was noted in the festival area and the storm drains were recovered.

• At 3:37 a.m. an officer was out with a vehicle on Rezanof Drive. The occupants were just waiting for friends.

• At 3:40 a.m. a phone call was received from a woman requesting an officer help her with her brother who is coming off meth on East Rezanof Drive.

• At 4:43 a.m. a man was cited for blocking a driveway on Larch Street.

• At 8:05 a.m. a 911 call was received reporting a vehicle into the oncoming lane twice on Rezanof Drive. It was parked when officers arrived..

• At 11:44 a.m. someone reported a man was continually DWI on Center Avenue. Patrol was advised.

• At 11:52 a.m. a phone call was received reporting a van has been parked in front of their residence on Willow Street for two days. It was parked legally and registered to a neighbor.

• At 12:26 p.m. an officer found a wallet on Marine Way. It was returned to owner.

• At 12:52 p.m. someone reported receiving several harassing phone calls at work on her cell phone on Von Scheele Way. An officer advised her of safety measures and options.

• At 1:03 p.m. a phone call was received and a loose dog on Mill Bay was returned to owner.

• At 1:48 p.m. a phone call was received about a loose dog on West Rezanof Drive. Owners were looking for it. They were reunited.

• At 3:07 p.m. a phone call was received and a summons served on East Rezanof Drive.

• At 3:31 p.m. a 911 call was received reporting a driver hit the curb twice and swerved into oncoming traffic on East Rezanof Drive. Officers found the driver and vehicle. Negative for DUI. They were given a warning for failure to stop completely at a stop sign.

• At 4:02 p.m. a 911 call was received from a woman reporting two men were in a physical altercation on Pillar Mountain Road. An officer gave them both a warning.

• At 5:14 p.m. an officer was flagged down at Birch Avenue and Mill Bay Road. A citizen reported a vehicle stopped in the middle of the road. It was gone when officer arrived.

• At 8:24 p.m. a phone call was received reporting her niece stole her electronic tablet on Larch Street. She called back to report that her sister had it for her. She did not want to press charges.

Tuesday, May 29

• At 12:19 a.m. a 911 call was received from a woman reporting being assaulted and having her purse stolen at Maple Avenue and Thorsheim Street. One man and two women were arrested for assault IV.

• At 3:11 a.m. an officer heard a woman yelling and banging noises coming from a residence on Mill Bay Road. The woman said her young son had a night terror and that everything was OK. Officer investigated and everything appeared OK.

• At 5:15 a.m. someone reported he loaned his vehicle to a friend, who in turn let someone else drive it and never returned in at Dog bay.

An officer explained it was a civil matter but will keep an eye out for the vehicle.
