• At 12:16 a.m., a caller requested subject removal on E. Marine Way. Male left upon officer’s request.

• Around 12:54 am, two bar checks were conducted downtown.

• At 1:50 a.m., officers responded to a suspicious vehicle reported at Jack Hinkle/ Rezanof . No one was around.

• At 1:56 a.m., officers responded to a suspicious vehicle reported on W. Rezanof Dr. Everything was OK.

• At 2:05 a.m., officers responded to motor vehicle accident on W. Rezanof Dr. A male hit a deer, which was removed from the roadway.

• At 6:13 a.m., officers moved deer off of Benny Benson Drive where they were congregating.

• At 10:25 a.m., a caller requested a subject removal on Marine Way. The subjects left upon request.

• At 11:08 a.m., a caller to 911 reported an assault on Hemlock St. When officers arrived the report was downgraded to a verbal argument only.

• At 11:42 a.m., a caller requested the help of another agency with an aggressive dog on Melnitsa Ln. The officers cited the owner for the aggressive/loose dog.

• At 1:31 p.m., a caller reported a criminal trespass on Thorsheim St. All was OK.

• At 2:16 p.m., a caller reported a loose dog on Hillside Dr. The owner was given a warning.

• At 2:28 p.m., a caller to 911 reported her vehicle had hit a subject riding a bicycle on E. Rez/Mill Bay with possible injuries. Medics took the rider to the hospital.

• At 2:57 p.m., a caller requested subject removal on Yukon Way. The male left upon officer’s request.

• At 3:17 p.m., an abandoned vehicle was red-tagged on Jack Hinkle/Rezanof.

• Around 4:49 p.m., callers requested health and safety checks on Carolyn and Thorsheim streets. The responders confirmed no emergency in either location.

• At 5:06 p.m., a caller reported public urination on Center Ave. Officers were unable to locate suspect described.

• At 5:24 p.m., a suspicious vehicle was reported on Marine Way. The owner moved vehicle on officer’s request.

• At 5:46 p.m., an officer investigated a suspicious vehicle on Marine Way. All was OK.

• At 6:02 p.m., a female reported hitting a deer on Rezanof Dr. Officers were called for a charity pick-up.

• At 6:07 p.m., an officer investigated suspicious circumstances on Rezanof Dr. All was OK.

• At 6:10 p.m., a caller to 911 reported suspicious circumstances on Mill Bay Rd. A male was admonished for an open container.

• At 6:44 p.m., a vehicle on Benny Benson/Rezanof was reported driving erratically. Officers had no contact with the vehicle described.

• At 7:14 p.m. a man was arrested for theft III and violating conditions of release on Chichenof St.

Friday, April 25

• At 12:20 a.m., a male was trespassed on E. Rezanof Drive.

• Around 12:48 a.m., four bar checks were conducted downtown.

• At 1:01 p.m., a caller reported someone got into his vehicle on W. Marine Way and left a bag inside.

• At 1:34 p.m., three bar checks were conducted downtown.

• At 1:41 p.m., an officer removed debris off of Powell/Rezanof.

• At 2:14 p.m., a caller reported a tire came off of a vehicle on Center Ave. and rolled to his property breaking a the glass out of a piece of equipment.

• At 2:24 p.m., a female was arrested for misconduct involving a controlled substance.

• At 4:43 p.m., a corrections officer requested assistance with an inmate.

• At 5:36 p.m., a caller reported an ongoing problem with a bear that gets into the dumpster and spreads trash in her yard on Woody Way Circle.

• At 5:38 p.m., a male was arrested for criminal trespass on Selief Lane.

• At 7:02 p.m., a caller reported someone parked in front of his window on Mill Bay Road and left their lights on. Officers advised the driver to turn off the vehicle’s lights.

• At 7:16 p.m., a female was cited for no proof of insurance on Mill Bay Road.

• At 9:23 p.m., a male reported his wallet was stolen on Mill Bay Road.

• Around 10:59 p.m., eight bar checks were conducted downtown.

• At 6:36 p.m., charges were forwarded for a female driving while license cancelled.

• At 11:33 a.m., a caller reported a loose dog on Larch St. The animal control officer advised owners to insure it cannot escape.

• At 2:45 p.m., a driver on Marine Way was warned for not stopping at a stop sign.

• Around 2:50 p.m., five bar checks were conducted downtown.

• At 5:14 p.m., a caller reported a motor vehicle accident on Mill Bay Road.

• At 5:49 p.m., a male on W. Marine Way was arrested for an open container.

• At 5:49 p.m., a dog on the Chiniak Highway was impounded.
