Saturday, Dec. 31

• At 5:35 p.m. a loose dog was on Mill Bay Road. Gone on arrival.

• At 6:48 p.m. an owner moved a vehicle at officer request at Hemlock Road and Cedar Street.

• At 7:14 p.m. a male was cited for speeding and no proof of insurance.

• At 7:47 p.m. a phone call was received reporting finding a note on his vehicle from someone who had seen someone hit his vehicle with theirs. Officer contacted person who hit the vehicle; she was unaware she had hit it. Parties exchanged information.

Sunday, Jan. 1

• At 12:13 a.m. a phone call was received about a hit and run on Larch Street. Officer found suspect vehicle; unable to impound as there were no tow trucks available.

• At 1:54 a.m. a 911 call was received reporting her friend’s wife pulled her hair and punched her in the face on Marine Way. Did not want to press charges, just have information logged.

• At 2:06 a.m. a phone call was received about an intoxicated pedestrian on East Rezanof Drive. Gone on arrival.

• At 2:16 a.m. a 911 call was received reporting three or our people are fighting on West Marine Way. Gone on arrival.

• At 2:33 a.m. a 911 call was received reporting a man was bleeding from the face from being punched in the face on West Marine Way; man refused medical care and took a cab home.

• At 2:35 a.m. a 911 call was received reporting a big fight and blood everywhere (no weapons) on West Marine Way. Officer arrived on scene and no one was willing to provide a statement of what happened; they said the combatants had left prior to officer’s arrival.

• At 2:59 a.m. a 911 call was received and a male was cited for DUI at Cut-Off Road and Rezanof Drive.

• At 3:22 a.m. a 911 call was received from a female reporting the business she was kicked out of refused to give her coat back on Marine Way; highly intoxicated and did not go in with coat.

• At 4:29 a.m. a 911 call was received from a male reporting his vehicle being vandalized on Mill Bay Road.

• At 5:44 a.m. a phone call was received reporting a female gave her ex-boyfriend a ride home; he was reluctant to leave then kicked her door several times. Parties settled differences.

• At 10:39 a.m. someone reported their vehicle was hit by another on Mill Bay Road.

• At 11:21 a.m. a phone call was received reporting the puppy they just adopted got loose on Delani Circle; received a call from prior owner stating they have the dog and will not return it. Dog was returned to new/rightful owner.

• At 2:05 p.m. a male was arrested on Mill Bay Road for probation violation.

• At 6:09 p.m. a phone call was received reporting hearing fireworks in the Pillar Mountain area. Officer unable to locate.

• At 6:34 p.m. a phone call was received from probation officer requesting KPD search a home for alcohol on Larch Street; conducted check, no contact with alleged suspect.

• At 7:36 p.m. a phone call was received reporting arguing and yelling from the downstairs neighbor on Madsen Avenue; officer contacted the neighbors. She was disciplining her child, all OK.

• At 8:02 p.m. a phone call was received about water flowing from storm drains under a retaining wall on Marine Way. Public works was contacted.

• At 10:18 p.m. a phone call was received reporting downstairs neighbors are yelling and swearing on Mill Bay Road; verbal argument only. Advised both parties to keep it down.

Monday, Jan. 2

• At 7:30 a.m. a phone call was received reporting tail lights on but the truck is not, on Mill Bay Road. Gone on arrival.

• At 12:38 p.m. a phone call was received reporting two dogs fighting in the woods at North End Park; information forwarded to animal control officer.

• At 1:02 p.m. a phone call was received and a female was cited for failure to use due caution on Mill Bay Road.

• At 2:57 p.m. a phone call was received from a male reporting his vehicle had been egged sometime in the last few days on Maple Avenue; requests extra patrol.

• At 3:17 p.m. a phone call was received about a broken window on Center Avenue.

• At 3:44 p.m. a phone call was receive about a motor vehicle accident at Powell Avenue and Mill Bay Road; no injuries.

• At 4:13 p.m. a 911 call was received reporting someone in the brush possibly in distress on Pillar Mountain; complaint unfounded, a man was shouting for his dog.

• At 4:21 p.m. a phone call was received reporting an intoxicated male passed out in the hall on Center Avenue; he was helped to his apartment.

• At 4:32 p.m. a phone call was received reporting all of the lights turned green on West Rezanof Drive; KEA was working on lines down the road, which could have caused it.

• At 4:51 p.m. there was a loose dog on Rezanof Drive. Unable to capture.

• At 7:34 p.m. a phone call was received reporting a vehicle double parked on Larch Street; owner told to move it.
