Saturday, Feb. 12

• At approximately 2:40 p.m. Alaska State Troopers responded to the Kodiak Island Providence Medical Center for a report of a stabbing victim. Subsequent investigation revealed that a 23-year-old female of Kodiak assaulted a 27-year-old female of Kodiak with a knife. Further investigation revealed that she was also on conditions of release which she violated. The investigation also revealed that the victim had earlier assaulted the attacker and broke a cell phone worth approximately $400. Troopers applied for arrest warrants for both on Feb. 13 and were granted those.

On Feb. 13 at approximately 6:28 p.m. troopers contacted them at a residence off Metrokin Way in Kodiak. One was arrested for assault III-DV, assault IV-DV and criminal mischief IV-DV. She was transported to Kodiak Police Department where bail was set at $1,500 and CATP. The other was arrested for assault III-DV and violating conditions of release. She was transported to KPD where bail was set at $1,500 and CATP.

Tuesday, Feb. 2

A seafood processor was cited for possession of undersized tanner crab taken during the Kodiak area commercial tanner crab season.
