• At 12:49 a.m. a phone call was received about an intoxicated pedestrian on Center Avenue. Reports a male sleeping on some steps; gone on arrival.

• At 3:43 a.m. a phone call was received about subject removal on Erskine Avenue. Reports an intoxicated male is banging on her door; gone on arrival.

• At 5:45 a.m. an officer gave two males on Chichenoff Street no camping advisements.

• At 5:57 a.m. an officer at Bartell Avenue and Chichenoff Street found hose coming out of a vehicle’s gas tank; someone siphoned gas; under investigation.

• At 7:35 a.m. a phone call was received about a building broken into on Mill Bay Road.

• At 11:22 a.m. a male was arrested on Shelikof Street for violate conditions of parole.

• At 12:49 p.m. a phone call was received about male hasn’t heard from former girlfriend; he says she always keeps in contact; patrol advised.

• At 12:50 p.m. a phone call was received about reckless driving on Mission Road. Resident requests the smart cart to deter speeders.

• At 12:58 p.m. a phone call was received reporting logging trucks speeding toward town on Rezanof Drive; patrol advised.

• At 2:32 p.m. a phone call was received about a stalking order service on Mission Road. Paperwork ready to pick up.

• At 3:28 p.m. an officer served paper on Pine Crescent Loop.

• At 3:51 p.m. a phone call was received about domestic violence restraining order service on Mission Road. Paperwork ready to be picked up.

• At 4:11 p.m. an officer spoke with person about roller blading in the streets at Hemlock Street and Mill Bay Road.

• At 4:28 p.m. a phone call was received about lost property on Mill Bay Road. ID and debit card are missing; officer advised her of her options.

• At 5:40 p.m. a phone call was received reporting a vehicle with people ran through a stop sign at Birch Street and Mill Bay Road; patrol unable to locate.

• At 7:26 p.m. a phone call was received about a cell phone stolen from a building on Thorsheim Street.

• At 9:43 p.m. an officer confiscated a small amount of marijuana on East Rezanof Drive during a traffic stop; to be destroyed.

Wednesday,

Oct. 5

• At 3:11 a.m. an officer checked a vehicle along side of road on Rezanof Drive; not a hazard.

• At 6:29 a.m. another agency reported shooting on Near Island; officer found no one in the area.

• At 7:35 a.m. an officer assisted two disabled vehicles on Mill Bay Road; moved.

• At 7:52 a.m. a phone call was received about burglary on Marine Way. Forced window entry; broken windows, drawers rifled through, cabinets pried. Under investigation.

• At 8:04 a.m. a phone call was received about vandalism on Hillside Drive. Tube in gas tank to siphon gas; under investigation.

• At 8:36 a.m. a phone call was received about ex-husband wouldn’t leave on request; no crime and parties separated.

• At 10:58 a.m. a phone call was received about domestic violence restraining order service on Carolyn Street. Served.

• At 11:51 a.m. a 911 call was received about wheel falling off a moving vehicle on East Rezanof Drive; no damage to other property; will get fixed.

• At 1 p.m. a phone call was received about a vehicle blocking driveway on Shelikof Street; CSO unable to reach owner and cited vehicle.

• At 1:56 p.m. a phone call was received reporting a vehicle has been parked in a handicapped space on Shelikof Street for a week; CSO unable reach owner. If not contacted by Oct. 6 vehicle will be cited.

• At 5:22 p.m. at the station someone reported animal cruelty on Selief Lane. Reports owner is constantly beating her dog; information forwarded to ACO.

• At 6:37 p.m. a phone call was received about a motor vehicle accident on Rezanof Drive. Parties exchanged information.

• At 6:58 p.m. an officer dumped out bottles of liquor on Center Avenue.

• At 7:17 p.m. on East Marine Way a tourist asked for assistance with ferry times.

• At 7:32 p.m. an officer took pictures of a downed stop sign on Rezanof Drive.

Thursday, Oct. 6

• At 1:19 a.m. an officer checked a vehicle with an open door on Hemlock Street; nothing disturbed.

• At 1:21 a.m. an officer checked another vehicle with an open door on Hemlock Street; all OK.

• At 3:54 a.m. another agency reported two males fighting outside on Shelikof Street; gone on arrival.

• At 11:01 a.m. an officer was will three subjects on Shelikof Street; no alcohol.

• At 1:05 p.m. a phone call was received about a barking dog on Madsen Avenue. ACO patrolled area several times and heard barking; advised owner of complaint.

• At 4:14 p.m. a 911 call was received about reckless driving on Marine Way. Patrol advised.

• At 5:28 p.m. a phone call was received and a female was cited for having a business on city property on Marine Way.

• At 8:50 p.m. an officer assisted with a broken down vehicle on Mill Bay Road. Moved from roadway.

Friday, Oct. 7

• At 12:37 a.m. a phone call was received about assault on Marine Way. Male punched in the face; did not want to press charges.

• At 1:10 a.m. an officer found a cell phone and a bag of marijuana.

• At 1:32 a.m. someone left Mill Bay Road on request.

• At 2:47 a.m. a 911 call was received about a disturbance on Selief Lane. Verbal argument only.

• At 3:58 a.m. on Mission Road a male was given a no camping advisement.

• At 9:39 a.m. a phone call was received reporting people frequently park on the curb on both sides of the street on Powell Avenue; patrol advised.

• At 11:20 a.m. a male was arrested on Mill Bay Road for failure to appear.

• At 11:39 a.m. at Benny Benson Avenue and Mill Bay Road a male was kneeling on the ground; refused to identify himself but said he’s OK and left.

• At 1 p.m. a phone call was received about an intoxicated pedestrian on West Marine Way. Stayed with a friend.

• At 1:07 p.m. at the station someone brought an envelope and ID and bank cards found on Mill Bay Road; in evidence.

• At 2:02 p.m. someone reported a stereo system stolen on Thorsheim Street. Officers believe they have a suspect.

• At 2:28 p.m. a female was cited for probation violation and released at Steller Way and East Rezanof Drive.

• At 3:14 p.m. a phone call was received about a cat trap request on Mission Road.

• At 3:23 p.m. a dog was found on Mill Bay Road with a bullet wound, knife wound and several bruises; under investigation.

• At 3:32 p.m. a found wallet was put in evidence.

• At 5:34 p.m. a 911 call was received about a motor vehicle accident on Mill Bay Road. Minor; no injuries.

• At 7:55 p.m. Alaska State Troopers requested KPD canine service on Mission Road; given.

• At 7:51 p.m. a 911 call was received about a male lying in the street on Willow Street; appeared intoxicated. Officer found a responsible party to take him.

Saturday, Oct. 8

• At 12:22 a.m. a 911 call was received about theft of services on West Rezanof Drive. Refused to pay cab fare; under investigation.

• At 12:40 a.m. a 911 call was received about four subjects throwing eggs on Willow Street; fled the scene.

• At 3:08 a.m. a male was starting fights on Marine Way; no one wanted to press charges.

• At 3:40 a.m. on Marine Way a male was given a no bars advisement.

• At 4:23 a.m. on Marine Way a warning was given to a male urinating in public.
