St. Mary’s Catholic School is celebrating national Catholic schools week 5-7 p.m. today with a fish fry and the drawing for the school’s annual raffle. For information, call 486-3513.

Kodiak High School hosts its college and career fair 6-8 p.m. tonight in the high school commons. The public is invited.

Fetal alcohol syndrome

Kodiak Healthy Tomorrows hosts Morgan Fawcett, a nationally recognized speaker on fetal alcohol syndrome and an accomplished flautist, at 6:30 p.m. tonight in Kodiak College Room 106.

Gut parka demo

Alutiiq artist Coral Chernoff will work on a traditional bear gut parka every Saturday in February from noon to 2 p.m. at the Alutiiq Museum. From 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., Chernoff will host a sinew thread-making class. To sign up, call Marya at 486-7004. A $20 fee includes instruction and materials. Both events are open to the public.
