• At 3:25 a.m. an officer noticed an open fire hydrant on Alimaq Drive; notified the fire department and it was intentional.

• At 7:13 a.m. a female was cited for speeding on Bartel Avenue.

• At 9:56 a.m. an arrest warrant was served to an inmate at KPD Jail.

• At 11:10 a.m. a phone call was received and a male was arrested on Alimaq Drive for felony eluding, reckless driving and resisting arrest.

• At 11:38 a.m. a phone call was received about a suspicious person on Mill Bay Road. All was OK.

• At 11:58 a.m. a phone call was received reporting a vehicle passed him in a no passing zone on Rezanof Drive; unable to locate.

• At 3:07 p.m. a phone call was received about a welfare check on Ismailov Road; complaint unfounded.

• At 3:30 p.m. a phone call was received from a male reporting backing into another vehicle on East Rezanof Drive; parties exchanged information.

• At 5:14 p.m. a phone call was received from a female requesting to speak with an officer about a domestic violence incident on Larch Street; officer advised her of options.

• At 8:40 p.m. a 911 call was received reporting a fight between him and his wife on Ole Johnson Avenue.

• At 9:34 p.m. a phone call was received reporting being with a man who is trying to climb a fence on Near Island Bridge; taken to hospital for evaluation.

Saturday, April 7

• At 1:23 a.m. another agency reported a female drinking when she was not supposed to on Woody Way; arrested for violating conditions of release.

• At 11:10 a.m. a phone call was received reporting two dogs in the road on Bartel Avenue; officer followed them to their home.

• At 1:49 p.m. subpoena service was attempted on Selief Lane.

• At 1:55 p.m. a phone call was received reporting a large dog running loose on Larch Street; gone on arrival.

• At 2:16 p.m. a phone call was received reporting a vehicle smoking on Pillar Mountain Road; gone on arrival.

• At 2:16 subpoena service was attempted on East Rezanof Drive.

• At 2:39 p.m. a subpoena was served on Mill Bay Road.

• At 2:49 p.m. an inmate at KPD Jail requested to speak with an officer about his missing coat from his vehicle.

• At 4:39 p.m. a male parked against traffic on Center Avenue; advised to get insurance before he moves it.

• At 4:41 p.m. an officer removed debris from roadway on Rezanof Drive.

• At 5:50 p.m. a phone call was received and an officer was out with a male banging his head against a wall East Marine Way; when confronted, he said all was OK and he headed home.

• 6:29 p.m. a phone call was received reporting four intoxicated males walking in and out of traffic on Thorsheim Street and yelling at people. Also they kept trying to pick fights with people. Officer gave them a no bars advisement.

• At 6:42 p.m. an intoxicated male left Thorsheim Street on officer request.

• At 8:47 p.m. someone was stopped on Marine Way for headlight and taillight out; given 24 hours to provide proof of insurance.

• At 9:30 p.m. a female was stopped for headlight out; given 24 hours to provide proof of insurance.

• At 9:43 p.m. on Mill Bay Road a male was given 24 hours to provide proof of insurance.

• At 10:04 p.m. on Center Avenue someone was stopped for broken taillight; given 24 hours to provide proof of insurance; did.

• At 10:35 p.m. a 911 call was received reporting a male and female were screaming at each other on Lynden Way; all OK, they were playing ping-pong.

• At 11:21 p.m. a phone call was received reporting neighbors on East Rezanof Drive have their music too loud; turned down at officer request.

Sunday, April 8

• At 4:28 a.m. an officer was out with a cab driver and patron on Marine Way; resolved.

• At 4:56 a.m. a male was arrested for DUI on West Rezanof Drive.

• At 8:08 a.m. an officer found a vehicle for sale on city property on West Rezanof Drive; will move on officer request.

• At 9:35 a.m. a phone call was received reporting a male stole items on Mill Bay Road; unable to prove it.

• At 10:31 a.m. a phone call was received reporting flooding at his neighbor’s house on Cope Street; public works responded.

• At 1:05 p.m. a phone call was received from a male who wanted an officer to check on his intoxicated friend on Marine Way; friend was OK.

• At 5:10 p.m. a phone call was received reporting finding a full box of .22 ammunition on Mill Bay Road; officer picked up and put in evidence for destruction.

• At 6:05 p.m. another agency reported a male was smoking marijuana in his room on East Rezanof Drive.

• At 6:25 p.m. at KPD someone reported his wallet was missing or stolen from High Street; wanted it reported in case it is found.

• At 8:27 p.m. six deer were in the back parking lot of KPD; officer escorted them out of the gate.

• At 10:37 p.m. on East Rezanof Drive a male was given 24 hours to show proof of insurance.

• At 10:41 p.m. a phone call was received reporting a vehicle has been parked in the road on Steller Way with its lights on and no sign of a driver; vehicle moved off roadway.

Monday, April 9

• At 12:48 a.m. a phone call was received about a found cat on East Rezanof Drive; taken to shelter.

• At 1:46 a.m. a driver was checking her mailbox on Mill Bay Road; all OK.

• At 6:41 a.m. a phone call was received reporting she almost hit a vehicle in the road on East Rezanof Drive; no lights on it at all. Officer directed traffic until a tow truck could arrive.

• At 8 a.m. a phone call was received reporting a vehicle partially blocking their driveway on Shelikof Street; unfounded.

• At 10:29 a.m. at KPD someone reported a male has violated his conditions of release on Selief Lane; unfounded.

• At 12:21 p.m. a phone call was received reporting receiving $500 in counterfeit money on Mission Road; under investigation.

• At 12:28 p.m. at KPD someone reported someone was using her social security number for tax returns on Murphy Way; she has initiated appropriate countermeasures.

• At 12:58 p.m. a phone call was received reporting finding drug paraphernalia on Rezanof Drive and would like officer to retrieve it; taken for destruction.

• At 1:26 p.m. a female was cited for a loose dog on Larch Street.

• At 3:18 p.m. an intoxicated pedestrian on Shelikof Street did not meet the criteria to take into protective custody.

• At 4:37 p.m. a phone call was received reporting his brother was outside his residence on Mill Bay Road texting him harassing texts; brother gone on arrival and caller did not want to press charges.

• At 5:14 p.m. a phone call was received reporting drivers speeding on Mill Bay Road and wanted extra patrols at certain times; patrol advised.

• At 7:16 p.m. a phone call was received reporting a dog in the road on Lynden Way; gone on arrival.

• At 9:04 p.m. a subpoena was served on Murphy Way.

• At 10:17 p.m. a male was stopped on Powell Avenue for headlight and taillight out; given 24 hours to provide proof of insurance.

• At 10:31 p.m. a phone call was received reporting a male has violated conditions of release on Birch Circle; unable to locate.

Tuesday, April 10

• At 8:57 a.m. a cellphone and broken pipe found on Near Island was turned in at KPD.

• At 9:31 a.m. a phone call was received reporting three rifles were stolen off his boat last week in St. Paul Harbor.

• At 9:39 a.m. a phone call was received from a female who would like to speak to an officer about a sexual assault that occurred last week on Hillside Drive.

• At 11:35 a.m. a phone call was received reporting an SUV passed another vehicle by using the bike path on Benny Benson Drive as a passing lane; gone on arrival.

• At 12:19 p.m. a female was cited for no proof of insurance at Sharatin Road and Rezanof Drive.

• At 1:45 p.m. a 911 call was received reporting a male and female are verbally fighting on Marine Way; gone on arrival.

• At 5:13 p.m. an officer was out with an auto parked in the roadway on Larch Street; owner moved on request.

• At 6:40 p.m. a phone call was received reporting a vehicle slid into the road on Larch Street; officer verifies it is not blocking traffic.

• At 6:40 p.m. a loose dog was on Willow Street; officer unable to catch it.
