Traditional cod prep

The Alutiiq Museum hosts the next edition of its wild foods program at noon today in the museum. Cod is the featured item on the menu, and Carl Gronn Sr. will present a salted cod demonstration. For more information, call Danielle Ringer at 486-7004, extension 22.

Coast Guard memorial

A memorial service for Coast Guard shooting victims James Hopkins and Richard Belisle is scheduled for 1 p.m. today in Hangar Three at the Coast Guard base. The public is invited to attend the service through the base’s east gate, which will open at 11:30 a.m. Visitors will be directed to parking by signs and personnel, and all guests are encouraged to arrive and be seated by 12:45 p.m.

Library board

The Kodiak Public Library Association hosts a board meeting at 5 p.m. today in the A. Holmes Johnson Memorial Library craft room. Call Sarah Short at 942-5472 with any questions.

Bridge club
