Fish law enforcement

The Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center hosts the latest edition of its brown bag lunch science series at noon today with a talk by Ken Hansen of the National Marine Fisheries Service law enforcement division.

Port and harbor board

Today at noon in Fishermen’s Hall, the Kodiak port and harbor advisory board will meet to discuss plans for the city-owned boatyard and harbor and cruise ship rate revisions.

School board, assembly meeting

The Kodiak Island Borough school board and the borough assembly will hold a joint work session on the fiscal year 2013 school budget beginning at 6:30 p.m. today in the Kodiak High School commons. The public is encouraged to attend.

Student concert

At 7 p.m. today in the Gerald C. Wilson Auditorium, the Kodiak Island Borough School District presents the concluding section of its schools in concert series as students in fifth through 12th grades perform on stage.
