According to an Alaska State Trooper, Michener’s girlfriend said he had come home from a bar and became violent, eventually getting out a tomahawk and damaging some furniture. She said he then took out a loaded gun and left their Briggs Court residence. She said he returned shortly, unloaded the gun and took out a knife, then went outside yelling.
Kodiak police had Michener in custody when troopers arrived at 2:33 a.m. Monday.
According to the report, Michener had called 911 himself but then hung up
