• At around 2 a.m., two bar checks were conducted downtown.

• At 3:14 a.m., an officer issued a no camping advisement on Marine Way. The campers left upon request.

• At 7:19 p.m., a male turned himself in and was arrested for failing to appear.

• At 9:05 a.m., an officer issued a no camping advisement on W. Marine Way. The campers left upon request.

• At 9:19 a.m., a caller requested a welfare check on Mission Road. A male left upon request.

• At 10:10 a.m., a driver on Mission Road was warned about speeding.

• At 10:59 a.m., a caller requested a subject removal on W. Marine Way. The subjects left upon request.

• At 1:57 p.m., an owner on Three Sisters Way was warned for a loose dog.

• At 6:09 p.m., an officer issued a no camping advisement on Pillar Mountain Road.

• At 7:24 p.m., a female on Hillside Drive was cited for no proof of insurance and a male was arrested for fourth-degree assault.

• At 8:27 p.m., a caller reported a male smoking something in foil and he and another vehicle drove off on Baranof/Powell.

• At 11:47 p.m., a caller reported a dog had been in a vehicle all day on Erskine Ave. Officers checked all the vehicles in the area and found no dog.

Saturday, April 19

• Around 2:09 a.m., four bar checks were conducted downtown.

• At 2:21 a.m., a caller reported a bear getting into the community dumpster at Woody Way Circle.

• At 2:42 a.m., a bar check was conducted downtown.

• At 9:08 a.m., an caller requested a subject removal on Thorsheim Street. The intoxicated subjects left upon request.

• At 9:34 a.m., a male was arrested for violating conditions of release and for two counts of misconduct involving a controlled substance.

• At 11 a.m., a caller reported an abandoned vehicle on Hillside Drive.

• At 1:48 a.m., a caller reported an abandoned vehicle on Larch Street.

• At 2:41 a.m., a caller reported an intoxicated male walking in the middle of Mission Road. Officers found him and he did not meet protective custody criteria.

• At 3:01 p.m., a driver on Mill Bay Road was warned for speeding.

• At 3:22 p.m., an officer spoke to a female on Katmai Drive about her dog being loose and was advised if she doesn’t keep the it in inside the fence she will be ticketed for each offense.

• At 3:42 p.m., a male reported someone used his Social Security number for tax purposes.

• At 3:56 p.m., an officer followed a dog home and gave the owner a warning to keep it on his property.

• At 4:53 p.m., a male on Ole Johnson was arrested for driving with a license restriction and second-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance.

• At 7:41 p.m., a male on E. Rezanof Drive was taken into protective custody.

• At 8:28 p.m., a male on W. Marine Way reported he was slapped by a man who was trying to take his money. Officers found the caller intoxicated and unable to prove evidence of a crime.

• At 9:17 p.m., a driver on Mill Bay Road was stopped for a headlight being out. Officers also gave him a warning for not carrying his drivers’ license with him.

• Around 9:51 p.m., six bar checks were conducted downtown.

Sunday, April 20

• Around 12:53 p.m., six bar checks were conducted downtown.

• At 3:53 p.m., a caller reported a violent female in their cap on Selief Lane.

• At 4:17 a.m., a female caller reported having car trouble in a parking lot on Marine Way and requested to leave it there until she could deal with it properly.

• Around 4:29 a.m., two bar checks were conducted downtown.

• At 6:24 a.m., a male reported a bear in his backyard on Eli Waselie Circle.

• At 1:02 p.m., officers were unable to locate a reckless driver on Maple Street.

• At 3:08 p.m., a vehicle was red-tagged on Hemlock Street.

• At 4:31 p.m., a driver on Benny Benson was warned for speeding.

• At 4:52 p.m., a motor vehicle accident on Erskine Ave was reported.

• At 5:02 p.m., a caller reported a missing trailer. The caller found it for sale somewhere else on the island; it was returned to him.

• At 5:39 p.m., a caller reported a dog barking all day and night on Sitkinak Drive.

• At 7:34 p.m., a caller reported a juvenile bear in the woods about 50 yards from his residence on Eli Waselie Circle. Officers shot rubber bullets at the bear and it left.

• Around 9:26 p.m., four bar checks were conducted downtown.

• At 9:54 p.m., a caller reported a male sleeping in the restroom on Thorsheim Street and refuses to leave. He was gone when officers arrived.

• At 10:37 p.m., a caller reported seeing a large bear dragging trash from their garbage bin on Mylark Lane.

• At 11:10 p.m., a caller reported a bear in her yard on Mylark Lane.
