The City of Kodiak Public Works Department said in a statement that it will be working on the water distribution system at the north end of Spruce Cape on May 1, from 8:00 a.m. till approximately 5:30 p.m.

It does not expect any water outage for residential areas adjacent to the Navy Training Site, although water may turn a brownish color. “This will be a temporary condition and the water system will be restored once work has been completed,” the statement said. Questions can be directed to Public Works at 907-486-8060.
