July 6

At 12:46 a.m., officers performed a welfare check after a report of domestic violence on Mission Road. Officers arrested a man in connection with the incident and also on charges of criminal mischief.

At 4:30 a.m., officers conducted a bar check on Shelikof Street.

At 10:56 a.m., police answered a request that a subject be permanently trespassed from a Mill Bay Road address.

At 11:42 a.m., officers looked into a report of cruelty to animals on West Marine Way after a call of a dog in hot vehicle. Officers reported the dog was safe, had plenty of air and was not too hot in the car.

At 1:11 p.m., officers ticketed a woman for speeding near Armstrong and Rezanof Drive East.

At 1:43 p.m., police responded to a call of disorderly conduct during a verbal argument on Mill Bay Road.

At 2:56 p.m., police investigated a theft call from a Mill Bay Road business. The business decided not to press charges but requested a woman be permanently trespassed from the address.

At 3:29 p.m., officers ticketed a man for speeding on Mill Bay Road.

At 3:58 p.m., officers investigated a call of disorderly conduct on Hillside Drive.

At 4:48 p.m., police investigated a call of concern for an animal in Bell Flats but found no violations.

At 6:05 p.m., a woman on Mill Bay Road was ticketed for driving with no proof of insurance and for driving with studded tires.

At 6:14 p.m., officers arrested a man on Marine Way in connection with an outstanding warrant.

At 7:43 p.m., police conducted a health and safety check at a Thorsheim Street address after receiving a 911 call.

At 7:57 p.m., officers performed a security check at a Mill Bay Road address.

At 8 p.m., police investigated an assault on Thorsheim Street. A man told officers he was attacked but refused to give further information to investigators.

From 8:23-825 p.m., officers conducted bar checks at Marine Way businesses.

July 7

At 7:13 a.m., police conducted a health and safety check at a Carolyn Street address stemming from a 911 call.

At 7:25 a.m., officers ticketed a man for speeding on Bartel Avenue.

At 11:32 a.m., officers ticketed a man for speeding on Von Scheele Way.

At 12:58 p.m., police took a call of a loose dog on Mill Bay Road but it was gone when officers arrived.

At 1:06 pm., police took a report at a Rezanof Drive East address of a phone scam.

At 2:12 p.m., police took a report of suspicious activity at a Marine Way address but noted no such activity when they arrived.

At 2:26 p.m., police performed a safety check emanating from a 911 call from an Egan Way address. The call turned out to be a misdial.

At 6:05 p.m., officers ticketed a woman on Mill Bay Road because the tint on her car windows was too dark.

At 6:22 p.m., officers ticketed a man on Marine Way because the tint on his car windows was too dark.

At 6:50 p.m., officers ticketed a man for speeding on Alimaq Drive.

July 8

At 1:47 a.m., officers responded to a subject removal call from a Center Avenue address. The man left upon the request of officers.

From 1:48-2:04 a.m., officers conducted bar checks on West Marine Way, Center Avenue and Shelikof Street.

At 9:33 a.m., officers answered a call of an animal violation in Bell Flats but found no violations when they arrived.

At 10:01 a.m., officers answered a call of an animal violation in Chiniak but found no violations when they arrived.

At 10:54 a.m., police responded to a complaint of a man loitering on West Marine Way, who left the area after asked to do so.

At 11:30 a.m., officers served an arrest warrant for a person at the Kodiak jail.

At 11:47 a.m., police investigated a car accident on Mill Bay Road.

At 1:29 p.m., police conducted a health and safety check at a Mill Bay Road address after receiving a 911 call that turned out to be a misdial.

At 4:49 p.m., police issued a ticket to a woman on Rezanof Drive West for driving 15 miles below the speed limit, resulting in traffic backing up longer than 10 car lengths.

At 6:09 p.m., police took a theft call from a Kodiak residence. The case is under investigation.

At 6:59 p.m., officers permanently trespassed a man from a Thorsheim Street address.

At 7:55 p.m., officers ticketed a man on Jack Hinkel Way for speeding.

At 8:14 to 8:56 p.m., officers conducted bar checks on Center Avenue, Shelikof Street and Bartel Avenue.

At 9:32 p.m., officers arrested a woman on Cope Street on charges of driving while intoxicated.
